If I remember correctly, this is the guy that sang-barked, “Lord gimme a sign?”
Well what does he call losing his fame, fortune, and freedom over powder? Nevermind, he’s probably still too high to notice the silver wakeup call slapped on his wrist. Here’s to hoping now that he’s back in the custody of the state of Arizona he’ll learn his lesson.
The story goes:
“He admitted to using cocaine, so he’s back in our jail,” said Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio. “I think it’s about time to give him hard time.” The get-tough sheriff said if the rapper is serious about kicking his drug habit, the Arizona jail system — where X has already logged time on animal cruelty and drug possession charges — could help him get clean.”
Apparently, his lawyer was trying to get him help via Dr. Drew Pinksy. Yes, Dr. Drew. Maybe Dr. Drew can visit him in jail because from the looks of it he’ll be spending a nice minute there from now.

I suppose his music career is officially over. The only news about him anymore, is when he’s on his way back to jail.
Well, this is what drugs does to people, for those who think it’s so wrong to say so. It makes people do things they might never do ordinarily. It’s time people stop pretending that drugs are just a matter of preference and free choice, or an innocuous recreation like any other, because for those who become enslaved to it, they no longer enjoy preference nor freedom of choice. I would bet that DMX regrets ever starting it.
If anyone thinks this is beating up on him, then you’re part of the problem because you help to obstruct the truth that might allow others to avoid addiction. IMO, drugs are a demonic force that have been unleashed on this earth. What else can have the kind of contol over people that it has…compelling them to lie and steal from anyone they can? Crack has certainly decimated black communities and families in ways that centuries of slavery, discrimination, abuse and torture couldn’t. To any drug user, past or present, who reads this: get over yourself. Instead of getting offended, have the guts to tell people coming behind you that the bridge is out ahead. And tell the unflattering truth! Because you’d be speaking from experience, no one can accuse you of merely being judgmental. You should have more credibility than those of us who haven’t used, so at least make sure that your drug experiences weren’t in vain.
@Rance: Thank you, for sharing that information. I’m so sick of it myself,and people with their lame excuse for the usage of drugs. It has effected the Black ( African American community) tremendously. It robs them of their true character keeps them(delusional) and causes the high rise on crime and destitute living for those who indulge in this defiant behavior.
I don’t even take prescription (drugs) unless I’m really in pain, because those can become addictive as well.
My prayers are that some people will wake up and know that Drugs is holding them back.

People want to know how he and people like D’Angelo come to such a pass. They were already using(abusing) drugs, money just magnified it made it more accessible. They had no problem because they had money not the money is low and not they are resulting to street addicts and it is getting more attention. They must have started at an early age. There are alot of kids so simple-minded that they are getting involved with drugs early. There shouldn’t be any new drug addicts today. You see the effects of it.
